A couple of years ago, I designed a new website for the photography committee of the Mountaineers. This past year, the main Mountaineer site got a facelift and looks more modern. I decided the photography committee’s site should look like it belongs to the main group, plus I wanted a way to get members involved. So, I just finished designing and developing the photo site for WordPress. It includes a blog, forums, and connects to social media. Since the site is technically a subfolder of the parent site which is hosted on an old server, I had to purchase a domain and hosting in order to run WordPress. The old URL (subfolder) is set to redirect to the new one, so members don’t have trouble finding it.
